Projects already completed

    2019

      In 2019 our support for the orphanage began. In one step, we financed the roof and completed the house. New toilets for the children could be installed behind of the house and a wall around the   

      property secured everything. In December we opened our hostel on the upper floor of the orphanage. We offer there four double rooms for volunteers who work in the orphanage or for tourists. Likewise,

      the employees now receive a regular wage for their valuable work with the children there.

   2020

     This year we finished the outdoor area. Now the children have a nice place to play outside. Every three months, the children receive a medical examination and get the important worm

     tablets administered.

   2021

   The exterior façade of the house was made. Special panels were used on the lower floor to protect the house wall against moisture.

   Starting this year, the children will receive regular shoes and clothing, some of which are bought locally or brought from Switzerland.

  2022

   At the beginning of the year, a piece of land in the immediate vicinity of the orphanage was acquired. Towards the end of the year, this property was expanded by an additional land purchase become.

   At the same time, we were able to successfully drill our ground and now have our own water, which is transported to the surface from a depth of over 190 meters. Too the accommodations on this land

   could be renovated for our staff.

   A major focus this year was the daily teeth cleaning of the children.

   2023

     In January, we were able to start with our new school system. Now our children are taught according to Montessori. We have hired a new teacher for this and are thrilled about the Progress in a short time.

     A solar system for the orphanage and a large water tank for our acquired piece of land could be installed. Thus, we can go there without Problems growing vegetables and fruits even in the dry season.

     At the end of December, we were able to renovate the kitchen and procure a new charcoal grill. We were able to attach our new plaque to the wall.

 2024   

  Since this year, we have been intensively cultivating vegetables and especially corn on our already acquired piece of land. A garden house with storage room was built especially for this purpose. On our        

  acquired piece of land there is an already completed residential house. After some renovations, we can now rent it out.
